Quick Overview Bioshock Infinite is a first-person shooter title developed by Irrational Games and was released in 2013 as the third installment of the Bioshock game series. Despite tying in to the story of the other titles in the series, Bioshock Infinite is not a sequel or prequel to either game, and can instead be seen as a thematic sequel set in the same alternate history universe, despite mirroring much of the gameplay elements of the other Bioshock games.
